I performed in Interaction Arts and Drama Network's Pieces of You, Pieces of Me (PYPM), Total Defence Day programme and Hope, the International Friendship Day programme. The shows were theatre-exposure programmes that were performed in primary and secondary schools and usually included a post-show segment: a Question-and-Answer session for PYPM and an interactive drama scene for Hope.
The experience was a dive back into acting and performing with such huge crowds and energy. It was a learning curve going back into the groove of learning lines and getting to play with the energies of different co-actors on stage. Apart from learning the dynamic between the school venue and vendor, the work reminded me of how we had to be conscious with how we constructed and facilitated the post-show segments to make the most for the students. What were the schools' objectives? And how do we elicit the learning we wanted?

Rehearsal still from Hope rehearsals.
