2020 | Arts x Health || Data-Driven Exploration of Art Programmes in Community Care Settings in Singapore

During the summer of 2020, I read a class on Retrieving, Exploring and Analysing Data (READ) with Dr Natalie Pang. The individual project I did culminated in the following paper.

Abstract

Programmes such as: RStudio; Octoparse; Voyant Tools; and Jupyter Notebooks were used in a data project exploring the arts in Singapore's community care settings. No association was found between the number of centres an organisation had and the volume of arts-related search results on search engine Google. Implications for documentation and dissemination of practice in the intersection of art and health are discussed.
